We used Caroline, The Pet Physio to help rehab our dog Milly's rear leg after major surgery. Milly adored Caroline and worked hard for her. Caroline put Milly at ease and took all the time required at each session to treat her even when Milly was a bit wriggly; there was never a feeling of any time constraint. Milly is now back at agility and couldn't be happier. I would highly recommend Caroline as she is very knowledgeable, great at her job and fantastic value. Caroline was one of our first points of contact after our six year old dalmatian Murphy, had a Spinal Stroke, and was unable to use his back legs. Caroline helped with different techniques to stimulate some movement in his back legs while also giving him physio on the front legs as they were taking all the pressure.Caroline also helped us with the paperwork side of things to help us apply for some wheels from Winston Wheels Charity to able Murphy to gain some of his freedom back. Caroline is giving ongoing treatment to our flatcoat, Tam, who is suffering from osteoarthritis. Her treatment has shown a marked improvement in Tam’s movements. We would thoroughly recommend her.
Would highly recommend Caroline. She clearly loves animals and her gentle approach with our cat meant she was able to work with him effectively from session one. He has mobility issues and Caroline used a combination of laser treatment and core strength building exercises with him to address this. He’s also on medication , so I can’t say the improvement has been totally down to Caroline, but I am 100% certain that he is noticeably/ significantly more mobile the day after her visits.
Caroline was an extremely important part of our labradors recovery after having TPLO surgery on her back leg. We had been struggling to re build strength and muscle in Forest’s leg since the operation. Caroline’s calm and patient manner along with suggested exercises mean we now have a happy dog. Forest will miss her visits.
We’re so grateful to Caroline for the care and dedication she’s shown to our spirited fox terrier, Reggie. He’s not the easiest dog to win over, but Caroline took the time to get to know him properly, working at his pace and gently earning his trust. Her calm, patient approach made all the difference. Caroline worked so well with Freddie gaining his confidence to work towards his recovery from IVDD, using a variety of treatment methods, whilst accommodating his exuberance for life! We are so pleased with the progress he has made.
